Classes & Community
Learn, Prepare, and Find Connection
Birth Haven is building a community around education and connection for families across New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
Our Vision
More Than a Place to Give Birth
Birth Haven's vision extends beyond pregnancy and birth. The founders imagine a place where families can learn, prepare, ask questions, and find meaningful connection throughout the perinatal journey and beyond.
Some opportunities are available now through our co-founder Danette Siegel's independent practice, A Mother Is Born. Others are planned initiatives that are still taking shape. Contact us to ask about current availability and ways to get involved.
If you are looking for education, support, or a way to connect, we welcome your questions. Reach out and we will help you find the right path, whether that is a current private class, a planned initiative, or a conversation with our team.
Where to Start
Current and Planned Opportunities
We clearly distinguish what is available now through independent offerings from initiatives Birth Haven is still building.
Family Education
Private childbirth education is currently available through A Mother Is Born, the independent practice of Birth Haven co-founder Danette Siegel. Group classes are planned but do not yet have confirmed dates.
A Mother Is Born is separate from Birth Haven's clinical services.
Haven Circle
Haven Circle is an existing fiscally sponsored Birth Haven initiative advancing family education, support, scholarships, and community-based maternity care. Its programs are planned and still taking shape.
Birthing Midwives
Birthing Midwives is a planned initiative focused on professional education, mentorship, and hands-on skills practice for future midwives. Contact the team to learn about its development and future opportunities.
Professional Connections
Midwives, students, doulas, educators, and community partners are welcome to reach out. Contact the Birth Haven team to start a conversation about collaboration and future opportunities.

Available Now, Independently
Private Childbirth Education Through A Mother Is Born
Alongside her leadership at Birth Haven, co-founder Danette Siegel offers private childbirth education through her independent practice, A Mother Is Born.
As a birth doula, childbirth educator, and Body Ready Method® Pro, she offers personalized preparation designed to help women and their partners explore birth options, build practical skills, and approach birth with greater confidence.
Danette is currently taking private childbirth education clients. Group classes are planned but do not yet have confirmed dates. Future group classes are expected to be hosted at the Birth Haven location while remaining operated by A Mother Is Born.

Connection Beyond Birth
Support Groups and Community Connection
Danette also organizes in-person and virtual perinatal support groups through A Mother Is Born, creating opportunities for connection, shared experiences, and encouragement during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum life.
These groups have been temporarily paused during the opening of Birth Haven, with plans to resume once a new schedule is confirmed.
